About the Potty Old bag
Some years ago, a friend of mine gave me the nickname 'where's me!' because I was always looking for things. It has taken me some years to 'get organised' in my home and the more I organise my space, the more I am organised in my mind. I have found that having a specific (and beautiful, washable and non-breakable) place to put my keys, my glasses, my valuables has revolutionised my day. NO, REALLY changed my stress levels.... By using my bags, pots, purses, I no longer scrabble around for my bus pass, I keep my most important bits like keys and purse under my coat for security, and always pop my keys into my 'where's me keys pot' by the door when I get home. And..................... reeeeelaaaax
ABOUT THE CLEANING .....
The felt items are all 100% wool and hand felted from scratch. These can be spot wiped clean with cold water and a cloth or hand washed with soap in cold water although this should be done sparingly as the items may shrink, you could take a chance and machine wash on cold, but that's up to you. If shrinkage occurs, reshape whilst damp. If you are, concerned about an item you buy from this site please contact me for advice. The sewn items are generally upcycled so a mixture of textures and materials are used. As a result, these should be spot washed with a damp cloth. Washing could be done on a cold cycle or hand washing and is done at the owners risk. Ironing should be done over a damp cloth. ABOUT GIVING ITEMS TO CHILDREN: Some of the items e.g. the bracelets currently do not have safety catches and also contain small parts such as sequins. If you are going to buy these items for your kids, please either add a safety catch to a bracelet or long straps (long straps like the ones on the 'Tiny Tote' bags) or don't give them to the kids. |
About Felting/crafting Classes/Parties
I run classes either individually or for groups (you could buy a great birthday experience for someone or as entertainment at a function). This can be done at your chosen venue (you would incur any costs for venue and my travel unless it's local to Richmond Surrey) or possibly in your own home for you and your friends. Great to add to your crafting knowledge and you will have a hand made item to keep or to give as a present at the end of the session. Prices are as follows: For 1 person £27. This includes 1 1/2-2 hours tuition a snack and materials. (The felt item you make could be to the value of at least £8) For 2 people: £40. Every person thereafter add an additional £15 per person. If I am travelling to you, then I would also add on fares and travelling time to the final cost. Maximum of 8 people. |
